Are you within the age of 18–35? If so, the all-new Young Adults Group welcomes you!
We'll meet every Wednesday at 7:30 pm in the RE building, room 110. Each month, we'll unpack a new topic on the Catholic faith and live it out through prayer, discussion, and friendship.
We too (Angie and Bennett) are young adults experiencing what it means to be Catholics in this generation, and we want to reassure you that you're not alone. We hope you'll join us and share your unique gifts and perspectives with us!
Hi, everyone! We are Angie and Bennett Ramirez! While we just moved to Leander in May, we have both lived in the Austin area since starting college at UT in 2017. We met through activities at the University Catholic Center and the Schoenstatt Apostolic Movement. This past April, we celebrated the sacrament of Holy Matrimony at the Marian Shrine of Our Lady of Schoenstatt.
Our desire for starting this group is to open the doors for young adults to experience the beauty and freedom of living out their Catholic faith amidst a culture that tells us otherwise. We hope that in sharing of ourselves and creating this space, that more young Catholics in our community will experience authentic friendships and a deep, personal relationship with Christ.
We are excited to get to know each and every single one of you. Who you are and the way God has made you is so important to the life of this community, and we can only hope that you will share that with us.
