"At the death of a Christian, whose life of faith was begun in the waters of Baptism and strengthened at the Eucharistic table, the Church intercedes on behalf of the deceased because of its confident belief that death is not the end, nor does it break the bonds forged in life. The Church also ministers to the sorrowing and consoles them in the funeral rites with the comforting Word of God and the Sacrament of the Eucharist." (Order of Christian Funerals, no. 4)

If you have recently lost a loved one, we offer you our deepest condolences. If you would like assistance to schedule the vigil service, a funeral mass and burial, please contact Cynthia Villarreal at 512-259-3126. She will work together with the funeral home and your family to arrange the date and times for the services. She can also answer some general questions regarding the funeral process. The first step, however, is for the family to visit with the funeral home of their choice. If you need to find a funeral home, we can give you contact information for the funeral homes located in the Leander/Cedar Park area.
