Easter Season pic

The word "Easter" comes from Old English, meaning simply the "East." The sun which rises in the East, bringing light, warmth and hope, is a symbol for the Christian of the rising Christ, who is the true Light of the world. Read more about the Easter Season that will continue for 50 days.

April Celebrations

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. Knowledgeable and caring adults who are committed to protecting children can also protect our Church.  Read more on this issue and The Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People.

This month we also celebrate Earth Day on April 22.  The Catholic Church brings a distinct perspective to the discussion of environmental questions, by lifting up the moral dimensions of these issues and the needs of the most vulnerable among us. This unique contribution is rooted in Catholic teaching calling us to care for creation and for "the least of these." (Mt 25:40) Of particular concern to the Church is how environmental problems and our response to these challenges will affect poor and vulnerable people at home and around the world. Visit the USCCB site to read more.

Stewardship of Treasure:

For parishioners who prefer the convenience of auto bill pay, it’s easy to set up monthly contributions by credit card or an electronic funds transfer. Simply decide on the type of transaction you prefer and download the form to fill out. You can bring the form by the office or place in an envelope and drop it in the collection basket during Mass.
