During the month of October, Respect Life Month we celebrate life -- Each of our lives, and every life, is worth living no matter the circumstances!  Our parish community will offer several activities to promote the sanctity of life from conception to natural death. Please join us as often as you are able to pray the Holy Rosary of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary before each mass throughout the month of October.

Don’t forget to pick up your Baby Bank after Mass!  Your donations will help pro-life efforts in our parish and throughout the diocese.

On Saturday, Oct 10 we will gather in the Public Square for prayer, repentance and conversion. We will ask God to save America through the Rosary of His Most Holy Mother. Please join us at noon to pray for our nation at Robin Bledsoe Park, 601 S. Bagdad Road in Leander.  Please contact Julia Canelo at (512) 589-5397 FMI.

The Respect Life Program begins anew each year on Respect Life Sunday, the first Sunday in October. The program is highlighted in liturgies and marked by special events. The USCCB Secretariat of Pro-Life Activities publishes new materials each year to call attention to numerous human life issues.

Mobile Loaves & Fishes Golf Tournament

Last year’s Golf Tournament raised nearly $27,000 for the benefit of MLF.  Register your team today for the October 9th event at Lago Vista Golf Club. Check in begins at 11AM with a shotgun start at 1PM.

Those not participating in the golf tournament can join us at the Benish Center for a fun evening at the Dinner & Auction from 6 – 9pm on October 9. The deadline to purchase dinner tickets is this Sunday, October 4. We cannot accommodate walk-ins at the dinner as we are limited to 250 guests. Don't miss out -- purchase your dinner tickets in the narthex after mass or online!

We will once again be hosting live and silent auctions featuring a variety of enticing items. We need your help to make this event a huge success—any items you or your company can donate to be auctioned off would be greatly appreciated.

If you would like to be a sponsor, volunteer for the event or donate any items for the auctions, please contact  Jason Ferguson at 512-843-4473.

Stewardship Sunday!

The promotion of the practice of stewardship is important for the mission of the Church and for the spiritual well-being of each individual Christian. Everyone benefits from the sacrificial gift one makes of his time, talent, and treasure.” ~Pope Benedict XVI

Ministry sign up for the upcoming year will take place this weekend but you can also access the sign-up form online.  Please review it, pray about your decision to serve in ministry, and once you reach a grace-filled decision, please fill out the form and return it to the office.

If you are new to ministry, the diocese requires that all volunteers, staff and clergy complete an Ethics & Integrity in Ministry (EIM) workshop. A refresher workshop in English and a basic workshop in Spanish are scheduled for October at our parish.  Sign up NOW! Click on the link Here to register. You must register online to attend a workshop.   If you need assistance with the process or have questions, contact Donna Ruddy, 512-635-0273.

RE Classes to Begin this Sunday

Religious education classes have started. The online registration at Ministry Tracker remains open for middle school and high school faith formation classes.

Registration for students in PK through 5th grade must be done in person as options for class date/times are very limited. Download the registration form and bring the completed form to Robin.

The tuition is due at the time of registration: $50 for one child, $90 for two and $130 for three or more. If this is your student's second year in a sacramental class (First Communion or Confirmation) there is an added $15 fee for extra supplies. For all late registrations a $10 late fee will be applied effective Sunday, September 13.

Please prayerfully consider sharing your faith with the children and youth of our parish. We are in need of Catechists for our Faith Formation classes!

If you have any questions about the requirements for sacramental preparation, please call Robin Yanez (Grades PK-5) at 512-296-0191, or Melanie Owens (Middle School and High School) at 512-259-3126 x110 (office) or 830-203-0081 (cell).

Stewardship of Treasure:

For parishioners who prefer the convenience of auto bill pay, it’s easy to set up monthly contributions by credit card or an electronic funds transfer. Simply decide on the type of transaction you prefer and download the form to fill out. You can bring the form by the office or place in an envelope and drop it in the collection basket during Mass.
